Formed in 2024, Val Mavis are an alternative/post-punk band based in Glasgow.

Since performing their debut gig in July 2025, Val Mavis have played multiple gigs around Glasgow, and have recently released their debut EP ‘Mavis. Valley’. Their sound covers a vast musical area, from somber quiet ballads, to more loud, abrasive moments. Their songs have a stress on lyrical storytelling, moody sonic textures, and studio experimentation.
