Sean Choon is not a chef. However, he does claim that music is "food for the ears". That gives him a loophole - so technically he is a chef then? At the very least, it makes him a funny arty farty musician. A prolific Malaysian singer, drummer, and producer, Sean has served up his vibrant “Sonic Tasting Menu" to popular acclaim across the UK. Most recently, he led his eclectic and electric live band, The Prawn Monsoon, in a triumphant performance at the esteemed Barrowlands Ballroom.

Eyewitnesses to Sean’s “Sonic Tasting Menu” frequently report primal crowd chanting, operatic montages, and hard-hitting grooves as part of the Menu. Listeners are guided across a wide musical palate, with influences ranging from the yacht rock of Toto to the psych soul of Brittany Howard. This blend is brought to life with equal parts humour and finesse through Sean’s premiere team of multi-instrumental wizards - The Prawn Monsoon. There are no actual prawns involved though, so it's all nice and hypoallergenic. Sean is mildly allergic to lawn grass.
