A brand-new comedy night is coming to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut this spring, as the legendary venue launches King Tut’s Ha Ha Hut - a special night of stand-up celebrating Scotland’s rich comedy scene.
While best known for launching the careers of world-famous bands, King Tut’s has a proud and often forgotten comedy heritage. Between 1999 and 2012, the venue regularly hosted comedy nights with cult Scottish comedian Phil Kay, helping establish it as an intimate and electric space for stand-up as well as music. Over the years the stage has welcomed the likes of Lee Mack, Ross Noble and Lynn Ferguson.
Now, King Tut’s Ha Ha Hut brings comedy back to the famous stage, giving audiences the chance to experience top stand-up talent in one of Scotland’s most intimate and iconic venues.
With its rich heritage and intimate atmosphere, King Tut’s has long been a place where unforgettable live moments happen. King Tut’s Ha Ha Hut promises to add plenty of laughter to that legacy, bringing together established names and rising stars for a night of world-class comedy in one of Glasgow’s most iconic venues.
