At just 21, Joe Goodall, born in Stirling, known for anthemic songwriting, honest, personal lyricism and high-energy live performances, has established himself as "one of Scotland's most exciting and talked-about artists". Drawing influence from the likes of The 1975, Sam Fender and James Bay, his sound blends modern indie pop with classic singer-songwriter.

Goodall has opened stages for the likes of McFly and Jake Bugg, earned multiple BBC Radio Scotland singles of the week and received national airplay across Clyde 1, Forth 1 and the Q Radio Network. Following his Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival performance, Joe performed a highly acclaimed televised acoustic session on BBC Alba, which continued to build his reputation as one to watch, selling out shows in Glasgow, Stirling and Newcastle and performing at major festivals across the country, with another busy summer ahead.

2026 sees the release of his new EP If It’s All For Nothing, produced by Chris Marshall (Gerry Cinnamon, Dylan John Thomas) and recorded with his band. The project explores themes of youth, uncertainty and self-reflection and the first single, You’re On Your Own Kid, arrives in May, with further singles released throughout the year and the full EP set for release in November.
