Glasgow Songwriter Round
Events
No events on sale
A monthly Nashville-style night at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut that puts the craft of songwriting at the centre. Each round brings together a curated mix of artists who share the stories, inspiration and lived moments behind their songs in an intimate setting of a seated gig at King Tut's. Just four writers, their songs and a room that listens.
Bar doors from 6pm, venue doors from 7pm. Performers sit together, performing in a simple, Nashville-inspired one-song-pass format. It is a chance to hear music the way it was written.
The night has become a welcoming space for emerging talent and returning favourites, celebrating genres across folk, Americana, alt pop, indie, soul and more. Each event captures the spirit of Nashville rounds while keeping a distinctly Glasgow feel. Honest. Collaborative.

This showcase brings together a lineup of voices across indie, folk and singer-songwriter worlds, including James, Rhona Macfarlane, Rue Marie and Noah Malcolm. Expect an evening of intimate performances and peak into their songwriting processes.
