A monthly Nashville-style night at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut that puts the craft of songwriting at the centre. Each round brings together a curated mix of artists who share the stories, inspiration and lived moments behind their songs in an intimate setting of a seated gig at King Tut's. Just four writers, their songs and a room that listens.

Bar doors from 6pm, venue doors from 7pm. Performers sit together, performing in a simple, Nashville-inspired one-song-pass format. It is a chance to hear music the way it was written.

The night has become a welcoming space for emerging talent and returning favourites, celebrating genres across folk, Americana, alt pop, indie, soul and more. Each event captures the spirit of Nashville rounds while keeping a distinctly Glasgow feel. Honest. Collaborative.

We’re delighted to welcome Be Charlotte, MØSS, Ryan Evans & Eve Simpson to the February Glasgow Songwriter Round.

Be Charlotte

Scottish songwriter with fearless identity, sharp pop instincts and a global track record. From BBC Radio 1 acclaim to Billboard success, she pairs inimitable vocals with a career rooted in purpose and artist empowerment.

MØSS

Where alternative folk meets quiet intensity. Years of careful refinement, emotional restraint and honest songwriting come into focus as MØSS steps into his debut run of singles in 2026. Intimate, patient, and quietly expansive.

Ryan Evans

One of the UK’s fastest-rising voices in modern country. BCMA Award nominee across three major categories, backed by national radio support and standout live shows. A breakout artist with serious momentum heading into 2026.

Eve Simpson

South Shields-born, Edinburgh-based songwriter crafting emotionally rich songs shaped by love, loss and self-discovery. With new music out this month, her work blends raw lyricism with beautifully honed arrangements.
