KT’s - Thanks for taking time out to chat to us!
BW - You got it bud!
KT’s - So, for those who don’t know who you are, how would you describe yourself and your sound?
BW - I would say we are a hillbilly band that plays country music with an edge. Think Johnny Cash, Hank 3 with a touch of Gg Allan's Country record. I personally am a crazy person haha you need to see the show to really understand.
KT’s - You’re very aptly nicknamed the “road warrior” – tell us a bit about you being on tour and why you love being on the road so much
BW - I love travelling and meeting new people. Adventure. And also our tours are quite long and treacherous.
KT’s - Is there anything you MUST have on tour with you?
BW - depends on the country. in Europe NyQuil and DayQuil and Advil PM are essential as the cold medicine in Europe is basically sugar water. The cold medicine in the USA is really strong and will knock you out.
KT’s - Where did you get the inspiration for your latest album “Bad Hombre” and how does it differ from your previous albums?
BW - I just get inspiration from daily life and experience then kind of melt it together into songs. I would say this record has a more classic real country feel.
KT’s - How do you find the Glasgow crowd and what are you most looking forward to about coming back to our fair city?
BW - I love Scotland! The crowds are always a good time.....including the brunette from the last show over there .....I hope she's coming back!
KT’s - Any final words ahead of the show?
BW - Tell your friend and tell them to tell their friends! This is one show you don't want to miss.
Make sure you don't miss Bob Wayne play King Tut's Wah Wah Hut on 10th November!
