19 NIGHTS OF LIVE MUSIC AT
KING TUT’S WAH WAH HUT THIS SUMMER
FEATURING NOVA, HYYTS, DEAD PONY, CARA ROSE & MORE

4TH – 31ST AUGUST 2021

Following a year out in 2020, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut is today proud to announce its line-up for the 2021 edition of Summer Nights with Coors. Now in its ninth year, this year’s festival is certain to be one of the most special yet given that it will be the first multi-day festival of its kind to take place in Glasgow since the shutdown of live music brought on by the pandemic.

From the very outset when the festival was founded in 2011, Summer Nights has been committed to delivering a programme of events showcasing the finest grassroots talent in Scotland. This year is no different with a diverse range of acts including SAY Award winning hip hop artist NOVA, electropop duo HYYTS, indie punk rockers Dead Pony, the mellow pop of singer/songwriter Cara Rose, and many more. The festival promises to bring you the freshest new music to soundtrack those hot summer evenings with Coors supplying mountain cold refreshment.

In its 31 year history, King Tut’s has served as a platform to some of the world’s very biggest musical acts at the beginning of their careers. From the well-documented discovery of Oasis, the venue has also played host to the likes of Radiohead, The Killers, Amy MacDonald and many others during their formative years.

The festival will run over 19 nights throughout August with 75 acts playing in total. View the full line-up HERE.

By collaborating with Coors, it brings something extra to the festival. Andrew Lawrence, Sales & Operations Director at Molson Coors said: “Getting back to enjoying live music and discovering a new band or seeing an old favourite is at the top of every music fans to do list. Summer 2021 is shaping up to be one to remember at King Tut’s, and we’re delighted to be supporting Summer Nights with the mountain cold refreshment of Coors.”

Chris Loomes, Booker of King Tut's Summer Nights, at DF Concerts & Events said: “It’s been a long year without live music and we cannot wait to bring some of the best new artists coming out of Scotland to King Tut’s this August. The local music scene is so strong with an amazing blend of different genres and cultures creating pioneering and exciting new music. We’re so excited to re-open and show once again Scotland is producing some of the best new music in the world.”
